In 1993, Polly Klaas went missing from a sleep over in Petaluma, Sonoma County, California. Two months later the twelve year old’s body was found near the Cloverdale Incinerator (an abandoned milling operation). She had been been raped and strangled. The memorial to ‘God’s Little Angels’ (other missing children) formed with dolls and teddy bears is now slowly being absorbed by moss and vegetation.
