Looks like a manipulated image but Zhagye Danxia is a geological structure of red sandstone in Gansu Province, China. The erosion of the sandstone is caused by extreme temperatures and weather, and the colours are the result of mineral deposits over millennia. The ‘Rainbow Mountains’ are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
