In the late 1960s renowned artist, Forrest Myers, wanted to create an art museum to be placed on the moon. He convinced six prominent artists to contribute to the project, including Andy Warhol, and had 16 copies made of the item. The ‘Moon Museum’ is a small ceramic wafer three-quarters of an inch by half an inch in size. It is popularly believed that the wafer was left on the moon during the landing of Apollo 12 in 1969.
